Employee Performance basically means the jobs which are assigned to that particular person is he/she taking care of it properly is the job been done on the daily basis. The job which was expected for them to do is it done properly or not. We can also compare the employee performance of his last month and current month. This helps us to understand what exactly is the issue if the current performance is less then usual performance.
If this issue arises there are ways to improve the employee performance following are the ways:
1. They should know that we care for them:
We should be friendly to them. We should know their birthdays; Proper gifts should be given on their birthdays and their weddings or after birth of their baby.
Then they will work hard and give their efforts more because what you give is what you get.
And even if there is some problem which is affecting their work then they will be comfortable enough to come to us and share about it which wont again affect their work. If we take care of employees; Employees will take care of the company.
2. Appreciate Them:
When your employees are working hard and are achieving their goals we should appreciate them. We can give them incentives, bonuses etc. This will give them motivation to work harder and give their best. Other employees can take this up as a competition and will work much harder to gain incentives. If we take feedback's from client's related to employees we can then recognize which employee has the caliber and skills to interact with clients. And accordingly we can then give incentives to that particular employee.
3. Little Entertainment is Necessary:
All the fastest growing organisations generally organize summer parties for their employees. This keeps all of the employees together. They get to know each other and start helping each other if in case there is any problem. So this improves performance of all members of the organisation. And everyone is motivated to work. Employees generally go with their families single employee bring their friends etc.
4. Employees should be well informed:
Many a times if there is any bad news because of one employee or the whole team of the organisation employees should be updated in a straight forward manner. They should not be kept in dark this will increase the complexity of the problem more over there are chances that the trust which was gained of those employees would be lost and that can create a problem because that will affect their work. And in case there is any rumor then it will create more problems.
5.Acting Strictly when needed:
Generally due to over helping nature and giving them incentives from time to time what happens is that there are chances of people taking us for granted. That also can increase problem in the work life.
Solution to that is becoming strict when needed. Work life and work style should be managed carefully. That means you should not be too much strict or too much lenient.
